Dr. Alpesh Anandkumar Rajput

Dr. Alpesh Anandkumar Rajput is a Gujarat-based Ophthalmologist who is available for consultations at three places in Ahmedabad. He practises at his private clinic, the Rajput Eye Clinic in Odhav, as well as at the Apollo Clinic in Maninagar and the Lions Karnavati Shantaben Vishnubhai Patel Eye Hospital in Ojnaj. In addition to these, he has attachments with various other hospitals such as the Maniben Hospital in Ahmedabad, the Bareja General Hospital in Bareja, the Polio Foundation in Vejalpur and the MMPJ Hospital in Bhuj.

After completing his MBBS in 2003 from the Pramukh Swami Medical College, Karmasad, Dr. Alpesh Rajput went on to do his DNB and also successfully completed his Diploma in Ophthalmology in 2007 from the M and J Western Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Ahmedabad. He has also obtained an MS in Ophthalmology, and fellowships in the specialised topics of medical retina (FMRV) and vitreo-retinal surgery (FVRS), under the guidance of distinguished senior ophthalmologists, details of which can be seen elsewhere on this website. Besides, he has also successfully obtained the FICO (Fellow International Council Ophthalmology) affiliation from the Centre for Vision and Science in Bochum, Germany. Dr. Rajput's areas of specialisation include cataract surgery and treatment of vitreo-retinal disease.

Dr. Alpesh Rajput has many of his articles published and presented at various symposia and medical association conferences across the country. He has also presented numerous posters at professional meets. In addition, he has had video presentations made at these gatherings too. Four of his papers and one video presentation have been singled out as outstanding and he has been awarded citations and medals for these contributions. He is a regular participating delegate at meets such as the All Gujarat Ophthalmic Society, All India Ophthalmic Society, and Kerala Society of Ophthalmic Surgeons besides others, and has been associated with publications such as the Kerala Journal of Ophthalmology, Indian Journal of Ophthalmology, etc., where his papers have been published.
